As the IoT market grows and becomes more sophisticated, there is increasing concern regarding the vulnerability of the network and its connected elements and the sharing of the myriad of data.

ArmorFlash™ is based on several mature security technologies effectively providing a secure ID or Authentication/Encryption/Decryption in either NOR, SLC NAND Flash or e.MMC™ flash. ArmorFlash™ will offer high levels of secure capability in higher density memory IC to prevent data from being compromised or from malware from being planted within a system.

One of the utilized security technologies is Physical Unclonable Functions (PUF), which make use of a chip’s biometrics – that is characteristics derived from the semiconductor fabrication, for encoding or identification. This ’chip fingerprint’cannot be predicted, duplicated, or cloned.

ArmorFlash™ is therefore an ideal solution for a wide range of identification, authentication and encryption needs within IoT applications, such as automotive, industrial electronics, healthcare electronics, wearables, and the smart home.
